Visiting Foreign Secretary of India, Vikram Misri, has held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Foreign Affairs Bishnu Paudel on Monday morning.
In the meeting at the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar this morning, Visiting Secretary Misri and DPM Paudel discussed issues ranging from mutual interests to bilateral relations, and economic and development cooperation to expediting the ongoing projects, Finance Minister Paudel’s secretariat said.
Misri who came on a two-day official visit to Nepal on Sunday visited President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli yesterday. Similarly, he also met with former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda' as part of his bilateral meetings.
Misri, who was appointed as the Foreign Affairs Secretary of India on July 29, came to Nepal as a customary tradition of visiting neighboring countries at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Sewa Lamsal.
