Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary pays courtesy call on Foreign Minister Arzu Rana

Visiting Foreign Affairs Secretary of India, Vikram Misri, has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Monday morning.

During the meeting, Misri congratulated Arzu on her appointment as the Foreign Minister and wished her a successful tenure ahead. The two leaders discussed issues related to mutual cooperation and bilateral ties during the meeting, the Foreign Ministry said.

Visiting Secretary Misri paid separate courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and Finance Minister Minister Bishnu Paudel on Sunday itself.

Misri, who arrived on a two-day visit to Nepal at the friendly invitation of his Nepali counterpart Sewa Lamsal is returning home today.
