Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba is flying to New Delhi for treatment next week .

The trip of Foreign Minister Rana, who is going to New Delhi for treatment, is being formalized by the Indian side, according to a source at the Foreign Ministry.

Minister Rana underwent hyperparathyroidism surgery at Max Hospital in New Delhi on March 28, 2024, after experiencing various health issues.

After knowing that she coming to New Delhi again for a regular health check-up, the Indian side is going to formalize her visit.

"She was personally preparing to go to New Delhi for a health check-up. After getting information about this, the Indian side has sent an invitation to her," said a source close to Foreign Minister Rana. Since she has to go for a health examination, there will not be many high-level meetings.

Although there are no other high-level meetings, Minister Dr. Rana and her Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar will hold a meeting in New Delhi, according to sources. The meeting between the two counterparts will take place as Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar has sent her an invitation.

Although she is scheduled to go at the beginning of next week, the date has not been confirmed. The cabinet meeting to be held this evening can take a decision in this regard.
