Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba is going to stay at Saket-based Hotel Sheraton in New Delhi.
Similarly, she will attend a dinner reception to be organized by the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi in honor of visiting Minister Rana.
Rana, who flew to New Delhi on a five-day official visit to India, will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Monday, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Rana landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport this afternoon. She was received by Acting Nepali Ambassador Surendra Thapa and the head of the Northern Division at the External Affairs Ministry of India, Anurag Srivastav , upon her landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport this afternoon.
The Indian government sent a DL 3 CCY 008 Mercedes bulletproof car to Indira Gandhi International Airport to receive Minister Rana, the sources have said.
Her son Jaiveer Singh Deuba, daughter-in-law Shivana Shrestha, her mother Prativa Rana and younger brother Bhushan Rana among other family members, who were alreday in India, also joined Rana, according to sources. The Indian government has provided a bulletproof vehicle for Rana's secruity while in New Delhi.
Even though the main objective of her India visit was originally for treatment, her Indian counterpart sent a letter to Minister Rana, giving an official recognition to her India visit.
After wrapping up her five-day India visit that includes her treatment and high-level visits, Rana will return home on August 22, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
