Omani Foreign Minister Albusaidi to arrive Nepal on Monday

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi.

The Foreign Minister of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, is set to arrive on a two-day official visit to Nepal tomorrow (Monday).

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Al-Busaidi is arriving in Nepal at the invitation of Foreign Minister of Nepal, Arzu Rana.

During the visit, he will engage in bilateral meetings with his Nepali counterpart, focusing on discussions to further enhance the Nepal-Oman relations.

The Omani Foreign Minister will also pay courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit, according to a press note issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.

The first bilateral diplomatic consultation mechanism meeting was held between Oman and Nepal in Muscat on August 7. Nepal and Oman, who share similar views on several global agendas, had established their diplomatic relations on January 21, 1977.

Omani foreign minister Albusaidi will return home on Tuesday, wrapping up his two-day Nepal visit.
