The prices of petroleum products have gone down. According to a press note issued by the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the petrol has gone down by Rs 2 per liter and kerosene and diesel by Rs 1.
The new price adjustment will take effect from Sunday.
With the price reduction, petrol will now cost Rs 163 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
Similarly, the price of petrol has been set at Rs 162 per liter in Surkhet, and Dang.
Similarly, it will cost Rs 160.5 per liter in Charaali, Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Janakpur, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, Birgunj areas, the NOC has said.
Likewise, the domestic avian fuel has decreased by Rs 5 per liter while international avian fuel has dropped by US$ 37 per kiloliter, according to the press note issued by the NOC.
The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has remained unchanged.
