PHC conducting hearing of four proposed ambassadors today

Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has started conducing a hearing of ambassadors proposed for various countries starting today.

The PHC had held interactions with complainants on Friday.

Ishwari Gharti, the member of the PHC, has informed that the hearing process has begun from today.

According to the work-schedule prepared on Tuesday, the hearing of the proposed ambassadors is scheduled for September 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10.

According to Gharti, out of 17 proposed ambassadors, four ambassadors will undergo hearing today.

 In the today’s meeting, the PHC conducting of hearings of ambassadors proposed for China, Denmark, Germany and India.   

The government on 29 July had decided to appoint 18 ambassadors. Of them 17 proposed ambassadors are undergoing hearing starting today.
