Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, leading a 22-member delegation, is flying to New York on September 22 to participate in the United Nations General Assembly.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers convened on Thursday approved the Prime Minister's US visit, the Prime Minister's Secretariat said.
The delegation includes Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Rimal, personal security officer, Prime Minister's wife Mrs. Radhika Shakya, Personal Secretary Rajesh Bajracharya, medical team, and photographer.
Similarly, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, the minister's personal security officer and personal secretary will also be in the visiting team.
The US visit is likely to be a six-day, a minister privy to the meeting told Nepalkhabar.
