The country is still under the influence of monsoon with the low-pressure line located south of the usual position.
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces including hilly areas of the country, and partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain is currently occurring in a couple of places in Bagmati and Karnali provinces.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon with chances of rains compounded with thunder and lightning in a few places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces and a few places in the rest of the provinces.
Likewise, there is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces in the afternoon today.
It will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country tonight.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and a few places in the rest of the provinces tonight.
Heavy rain is predicted in one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces at night according to a weather bulletin issued by the Division at 6 am today.
