The green vegetables grown by Nepali farmers under the agriculture promotion program of the China Foundation for the Rural Development (CFRD) are being shipped to Qatar on Thursday.

The vegetables being exported include akabare chilli (dalle chilli), bitter gourds, beans. The vegetables were grown under the agro program of the CFRD in Dakshinkali Rural Municipality.

The CFRD conducted a three-month training program in collaboration with the CTEVT in 2023 to teach farmers in Tarkeshwar Municipality Chinese agricultural techniques.

In association with N Agro Pvt. Ltd., the CFRC has been running this program in Dakshinkali Rural Municipality for some months.

The CFRD will hold a pre-export meeting at the Customs Office of Tribhuvan International Airport tomorrow before shipping green vegetables to Qatar.
