Dr. Prabodh Kumar Yadav, 50, of Bhangaha Municiplaity-2, Bakharti village has disappeared since last April 15.
Yadav, who had been residing in Kathmandu, has not come into contact with his family after he reached Janakpur in course of the job.
His family has approached the local administration to search for the missing.
According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, he had a telephonic conversation with his wife Poonam Kumari on April 15, 2024.
Poonam said that his mobile phone was switched off since 3.00 pm on the same day.
Search for disappeared Yadav is underway, the police said.
