Koshi Province Chief Minister Karki expands cabinet

Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has expanded cabinet today. The cabinet was expanded by inducting three ministers and one state minister.

Koshi Province Chief Parashuram Khapung administered the oath of office and secrecy to three new ministers appointed in accordance with Article 168 (9) of the Constitution.

The newly inducted ministers are—Bhupendra Rai as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Khagen Singh Hangam as the Minister for Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives and Sadananda Mandal as the Minister for Tourism, Forest and Environment.

Similarly, Chief Minister Karki administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhupi Prasad Rajbanshi as minister of state for Physical Infrastructure Development.

Speaker of Koshi Province, Ambar Bahadur Bista, ministers of Koshi province government, chiefs of security bodies, secretaries of different ministries and political party leaders were present on the occasion. (RSS)
