Passenger dies on Cathay Pacific flight from Dhaka to Hong Kong

A passenger has died during a flight of Cathay Pacific Airways from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, to Hong Kong, on Wednesday morning. 

A Bangladeshi citizen, 47, fell unconscious during a flight number CX662 of Cathay Pacific Airways while it heading to Hong Kong from Dhaka, the SCMP reported.

According to officials of the airways, the passenger died on the spot and that preparations are underway to conduct postmortem on the body to find out the case of death.

The plane which flew from Dhaka at 2 am, according to local time, landed at 7:49 am in Hong Kong, the airport authorities said.

Earlier, a German passenger on a Cathay Airbus flight from Hong Kong to Mumbai died on September 9. 

The German citizen, 71, had fainted before boarding the place. Following a preliminary treatment by crew members, he was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
