Two including driver missing in Seti tractor plunge

Two people went missing in a tractor accident that plunged into the Seti River on Wednesday morning.

The tractor fell into the Seti River at Durgathali Rural Municipality-2, Janana in Bajhang district.

According to Police Inspector Kishor Joshi of District Police Office, Bajhang, two people including driver Sanjaya Budha, 20, of Bheri Municipality-2, have gone missing in the Seti River. The identity of the other missing is yet to be established.

A search operation is underway, the police have said.

 Five people were traveling in the tractor. Three people managed to save their life by jumping off the vehicle before it crashed. The injured are receiving treatment at a Jhota health post.

The ill-fated tractor heading to Janana from Mauri Bagar went out of control and fell some 50 meters down into the Seti River along the Jaya Prithvi Highway this morning.
