Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain has been arrested on the alleged charge of committing a cybercrime.
The Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police apprehended Prasain from his Bhaktapur-based house a while ago, Chief District Officer of Bhaktapur, Mohanmani Adhikari, told Nepalkhabar.
Kathmandu District Court had issued an arrest warrant against Prasain last Wednesday.
The arrest warrant had been issued against Jivan Pandey of Badigad Rural Municipality, Baglung, and Prakash Chandra Dahal of Sunaulo Bazaar, Dhadhing, including Prasain as per the demand of Cyber Bureau.
They will be charged under The Electronic Transaction Act, 2008, said the police.
