Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain has been remanded to five more days in police custody.
A bench of Justice of Kathmandu District Court, Shyam Bihari Maurya, remanded Prasain to five days in custody for further investigation into the case.
Earlier, the court had remanded him to three days for the first time following his arrest last Sunday.
Acting on a complaint lodged by a central member of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), the cyber bureau of Nepal Police has been investing the case after taking Prasain into custody.
Following his arrest on Sunday he was taken to Bir Hospital after he complained of health issues. Then his statements are being recorded by the state prosecutor's office since Monday.
After being discharged by the hospital, he has been kept at the police circle in Singha Durbar.
He has been accused of committing a cybercrime by assassinating characters of women thorough social networking sites, according to the complaint.
