The Banking, Finance, and Insurance Institute of Nepal (BFIN) on Wednesday signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Victoria University (VU), Melbourne.

The MoU was signed between Dr. Binod Atreya, Managing Director of BFIN, and Monty Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global) of Victoria University.

Signing the agreement, Dr. Binod Atreya said, “We are excited to collaborate with Victoria University in offering these scholarships, which will provide BFIN members with access to a world-class education. This partnership strengthens our commitment to fostering professional growth in Nepal’s financial sector."

The agreement, signed at Victoria University during the 8th Leadership Development Program, provides scholarships of up to 30% for financial sector professionals and their families to study at the university.

This collaboration marks a significant achievement in providing enhanced educational opportunities for Nepal’s financial community, enabling them to pursue higher education in a diverse range of academic programs at Victoria University, according to a press note issued by the BFIN.

The 8th Leadership Development Program is a prestigious event that gathers top executives from Nepal's banking, finance, and insurance industries to develop their leadership abilities.
