Husband and wife buried in landslide

Two people have died when a landslide buried their house in Lisangkhu Pakhar Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok.

The deceased have been Kaji Bahadur Lama, the former chair of Ward No. 3 and his wife, said Raju Lama, Chair of the Rural Municipality. The fatal incident took place last night.

Meanwhile, the daily life of Sindhupalchok district has been affected due to incessant rains. The Sunkosi River has crossed the danger level while many roads have been blocked due to landslides along the Araniko Highway and other roads.
