4 swept away by Nakhkhu River in Laliltpur; 3 buried by landslide in Godawari

Four people have gone missing after being washed away by the Nakhu River in Lalitpur.

A woman, two men, and a child went missing when the Nakhkhu River washed them away near Kantipur Colony in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14, Nakhipot.

The police have not yet released their identities. The District Police Range Office, Lalitpur said that the search for the missing persons is continuing.

Similarly, three people have gone missing after a house was swept away by a landslide in Godawari in Lalitpur.

They were buried when a landslide hit the Leprosy Hospital at Tikabhairab in Godawari Municipality-6. Armed police have been deployed to the incident site for rescue operations.

Similarly, Samendra Setu Secondary School located at Imadol in Mahalakshmi Municipality 2, Lalitpur was flooded, leaving five people trapped. The police have been mobilized to rescue them.

Likewise, the police said that rescue operations are also underway for those trapped in the Nakhkhu area located in Lalitpur Metropolitan City 2.
