The court has issued an order releasing medical professional Durga Prasain on a 100,000 bail.
Kathmandu District Court Judge Thakur Prasad Kharel on Tuesday ordered the release of Prasain on the bail.
Two cybercrime cases had been filed against Prasain. A Rs 50,000-bail each has been sought against two cases from Prasain.
The Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police had arrested Prasain from his Bhaktapur-based residence on September 22.
Acting on a complaint filed by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Tika Sangraula, the Bureau arrested Prasain from his residence on September 22.
Another case had also been filed against Prasain.
The Bureau has submitted a report after carrying out an eight-day investigation on Prasain.
