Newly elected three ministers taking oath in Lumbini Province.

Newly elected three ministers have taken an oath of office and secrecy in Lumbini Province on Thursday morning.

Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya on Wednesday appointed Janmajaya Timilsina and Dev Karan Kalwar as ministers from Nepali Congress and Adesh Kumar Agarwal from Janata Samajbadi Party.

Timilsina took the oath as the Minister for Social Development, Kalwar as the Minister for Forest and Environment and Agarwal as the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law.

Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar administered the oath to them amidst a ceremony organized at the Office of the Province Chief in Butwal this morning.

UML Province Parliamentary Party leader Chet Narayan Acharya had been elected as the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province with the support of 56 lawmakers from Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) on July 22.

With the appointment of three more ministers, Lumbini Province has now become an 11-member cabinet.
