Gold continues to lose luster; Rs 160,000 per tola today

Decreases by Rs 11,000 per tola in the period of two weeks

The gold price, which decreased by Rs 2,400 per tola on Wednesday, has has gone down by Rs 2,200 today.

The price of bullion has been decreasing for the last five days.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Delears Association (FENEGOSIDA), the gold is being sold for Rs 160,000 per tola. The price of yellow precious metal was Rs 162,200 per tola yesterday.

The gold price had hit an all-time high with Rs 171,000 per tola on October 31. The price of gold has been spiraling down since then.

The price of gold has decreased by Rs 11,000 per tola in the span of two weeks.

The price of silver has also gone down today, the Federation has said.

The silver, which was traded for Rs 1,940 per tola yesterday, has gone down by Rs 35 per tola to settle at Rs 1,905 per tola.
