CAN announces 15-member squad for ACC U-19 Asia Cup

Match will start in UAE on Nov 29

A  Nepali team has been announced to play ACC U-19 Asia Cup.

Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) on Sunday announced a 15-member team captained by Hemant Dhami.

 The team includes Arjun Kumal (vice-captain), Akash Tripathi, Uttam Thapa Magar, Mayan Yadav, Naren Saud, Unish Bikram Singh Thakuri, Naren Bhatta, and Santosh Yadav as members.

Similarly, the other team members are Yubaraj Khatri, Roshan Bishwakarma, Bipin Kumar Mahato, Prajit Paudel, Abishesh Tiwari and Ranjit Kumar.

Shakti Gauchan is the main coach while Dhirendr Chanda is the assistant coach for the newly announced team, the CAN said.

U-19 Asia Cup is being held in UAE from November 29 to December 8.

Nepal will play its first match with Sri Lanka on November 29, second match with Bangladesh on December 1 and the final group stage match with Afghanistan on December 3.
