Chitra Lekha Yadav appointed as ambassador to Australia

Chitra Lekha Yadav has been appointed as the Nepali Ambassador to Australia.

President Ramchandra Paudel on Sunday appointed Yadav as the Ambassador in line with Article 282 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on September 10 recommended Yadav for the position of ambassador to Australia.

 A parliamentary hearing committee meeting held on October 2 had endorsed Yadav's candidacy.
