Singer Smita Dahal has been engaged to her long-time boyfriend Sayujya Shrestha.

Posting her photo about her ring-ceremony held a few days earlier on her Instagram account, Dahal informed that she is going to tie the knot with her college friend Sayujya Shrestha, whom she met during her university days.

Both of them had been in a relationship since their college days.

Smita has mentioned that their love story, which began with a sneaking glance at each other in our college days, blossomed over the years and now it culminated in their wedding vows.

"From sneaking glances across college benches to planning forever side by side, it's a journey woven with laughter, late night talks, and quiet moments only we could understand. From being my friend, then my love, and now, my forever. Thank you for every joy you've brought me, for the promise wrapped around my finger, and for making me the luckiest heart in the world. I cannot wait to be yours, always and forever!"

Smita is going to tie the knot with her beloved Shrestha. According to sources, her wedding ceremony is set to be held at Grand Norling Hotel's Resort in Gokarna on December 6.

Sayujya, a Master's in Business Administration, is a businessman, while Smita holds a Master's degree in International Marketing Management.

Smita, the granddaughter of former Prime Minister and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has sung popular songs including 'Mayalu Timi Kata Chhau,' 'Malai Amale', 'Malingo'.
