Gold price increases by Rs 1,600 per tola today

The price of gold and silver has increased on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The gold price which decreased by Rs 300 on Thursday has gone up by Rs 1,600 per tola today.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the gold is being sold for Rs 150, 900 per tola. The price of gold was Rs 149,300 per tola yesterday.

The gold price had decreased by Rs 15,900 per tola on Monday and Rs 2,600 per tola Tuesday.

Similarly, the price of gold has gone down by Rs 45 per tola today. With the fall in silver price, it is being sold for Rs 1,845 per tola. It was sold for Rs 1,800 per tola yesterday.

The price of gold and silver has gone down after the government reduced the customs duty from 20 percent to 10 percent.

The gold price had hit an all-time high of Rs 171,000 per tola on October 31.
