CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has strongly denounced the Israel's ongoing killing of Palestinian citizens.
Inaugurating a nationwide signature campaign against the Israeli genocide on Palestinians at Ratna Park in Kathmandu on Monday, Prachanda disapproved the ongoing act of killing and added that voices have been raised worldwide against the atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinians since the past.
Protesting the atrocities and "genocide" committed in Gaza Strip, Prachanda said that despite repeated resolutions against it by the United Nations, the ruthless attack by Israel on Palestinians goes unabated.
Prachanda said that everyone should raise their voice against the inhumane attack and killing.
"We all know that voices have been raised worldwide against the atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinians since the past. There has been a global outcry against the recent atrocities and massacres, especially those occurring in the Gaza Strip," Prachanda said, "Resolutions have been passed repeatedly in the United Nations against this, but, ignoring all of them, Israel has continued its ruthless attack on Palestinians."
He expressed his sorrow that even in the so-called civilized society of the 21st century, when it was called a new era of democracy, innocent and innocent people, from children in hospitals, were being massacred in an inhumane manner.
He said that it was everyone's duty to raise a voice against it, calling on Nepal's political parties, civil society, and scholars to raise their voices to stop the ongoing inhuman killing.
Israel had started pounding Gaza Strip after Hamas, a Palentine militant group, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. During that period, Prachanda was the Prime Minister of Nepal.
A year later, leaders including Prachanda joined the signature campaign demanding a stop to the attack on Gaza Strip.
