Kathmandu Gurkhas has set a 104-run target for Lumbini Lions in the 19th match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday, Kathmandu notched up 103 runs losing all wickets in 19.2 overs.
Bhim Sharki topped the score with 31 runs followed by Dan Douthwaite with 21 runs while Pratik Shrestha and Stephen Eskinazi and contributed 20 and 13 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not achieve double-digit runs.
In reply, Saad Bin Zafar took the highest 3 wickets followed by Abhishesh Gautam and Ramon Simmonds with 2 wickets each while Surya Tamang and Bibek Yadav grabbed 1 wicket each for Lumbini.
