The resignation of head coach of Nepal's national cricket team Manoj Prabhakar has been approved.
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) said Prabhakar's resignation was accepted with effect from Thursday.
CAN had signed a one-year contract with Prabhakar to manage the Nepali team. He arrived in Nepal in August after the then Australian coach Dave Whitmore left the job.
However, with Prabhakar taking charge, Nepal's performance further deteriorated.
Nepal's national cricket team went on a tour of Kenya within a week after Prabhakar took up the job.
According to the media reports, Prabhakar's relationship with the players had also deteriorated due to the team's consistent poor performances.
