Janakpur Bolts and Karnali Yaks are facing each other in the second qualifier of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) today (Thursday).
The competition between the two teams will kick off at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 12:15 pm.
After losing to Sudurpaschim Royals by 8 wickets in the first qualifier, Janakpur was forced to play the winner of the Eliminator in the second qualifier. It is a second chance for Janakpur to reach the final.
Karnali, on the other hand, reached the second qualifier by defeating Chitwan Rhinos by 21 runs in the eliminator match held on Wednesday.
Sudurpaschim has already reached the final of the NPL by winning the first qualifier yesterday.
Now, the winning team today will face Sudurpaschim on Saturday for the title. The match will start at 12:15 pm.
The title winner will receive a prize of Rs 11 million, while the runner-up will receive Rs 5.1 million.
Similarly, the team in third place will receive Rs 2.5 million while the team in fourth place will receive Rs 1.5 million.
Karnali and Chitwan reached the playoffs by finishing third and fourth.
Chitwan, which was eliminated from the eliminator, will receive Rs 1.5 million.
