President Paudel administers oath to five ambassadors-designate

Newly appointed five Nepali ambassadors to various countries have taken the oath of office and secrecy from President Ramchandra Paudel.

President Paudel administered the oath to Nepali Ambassador to Russia, Janga Bahadur Chauhan, Chandra Kumar Ghimire to Britain, Shanil Nepal to Spain, Dr Shivamaya Tumbahamphe to South Korea and Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as the ambassador to India amidst a ceremony organized at Shital Niwas, the Office of the President said.

High-ranking officials of the Nepal government were present in the ceremony.

A cabinet meeting on July 29 had recommended 18 ambassadors to various countries. They underwent parliamentary hearings in different times.
