Nepal has set a 74-run target for Scotland in the ICC Women's U-19 T20 World Cup cricket tournament underway in YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi in Malaysia.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal notched up 73 runs in 18.5 overs losing all the wickets.
Puja Mahato made the highest score with 27 runs including three fours off 43 balls followed by Sabitri Dhami with 10 runs. The other batters could not achieve double-digit runs.
In reply, Maisie Maceira grabbed the highest 5 wickets followed by Nayma Sheikh and Ammy Baldie with two wickets each while Kirsty McColl claimed 1 wicket for Scotland.
Nepal that lost to Bangladesh in the first match is under pressure to beat Scotland to reach Super Six. However, it could not perform well in batting.
