Foreign Minister Rana aggrieves fatal train accident in Maharashtra, India

Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has expressed sorrow over the train accident took place on Wednesday at Maharastra of India.

Taking to a social site today, the Foreign Minister said she was saddened by the deaths of Nepali and Indian nationals in the accident.

Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Minister Deuba paid tributes to the departed souls. The Minister wished for a quick recovery of the injured.

The Minister this morning telephoned the Nepali ambassador to India and Indian ambassador to Nepal, urging the authorities concerned of both countries to engage in the rescue and relief efforts and the treatment of the injured in an effective way.

At least 11 people including three Nepalis have been confirmed dead in the accident.
