The weather today will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and mostly clear in the rest of the country. This is due to the effect of the westerly winds.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Likewise, mist and fog is expected in some areas of the Terai today, which is likely to impact daily life, road and air transport, adds the Division. It has thereby requested one and all to adopt necessary measures to stay safe from its possible effects.
