Two Nepalis rescued from Mayddy of Myanmar

Two more Nepali nationals have been rescued from Mayddy of Myanmar.

Nepali Embassy in Bangkok rescued them with the help of the Thailand government.

"Two Nepali citizens, who were forced to work in online scam labor in Mayddy of Myanmar by the Nepali Embassy in Thailand. They were brought to Thailand after rescue via Tak Immigration Office, Mesot, and repatriated to Nepal today."

The Embassy has urged one and all to go for foreign employments only after taking a labor permit from the government of Nepal.

"The Nepali nationals are advised against seeking employment in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand with the false promises of quick bucks," reads the press note issued by the Embassy.

Earlier, on February 21, five Nepali citizens had been rescued and repatriated to Nepal from Mayddy of Myanmar.
