Several regions of Nepal are experiencing significant weather changes on Friday morning. The Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces are currently witnessing heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. These conditions have persisted since last night, according to meteorologist Shanti Kandel of the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
"Many areas in the Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces are experiencing thunderstorms and rainfall," stated Kandel.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted that many parts of the country will receive rainfall throughout the day. Kathmandu Valley has also been overcast since this morning, with a possibility of light rain in the afternoon.
"There is a possibility of light rain in the Kathmandu Valley this afternoon," Kandel added.
The western regions of Nepal, including Sudurpashchim and Karnali, are experiencing the inclement weather, with residents advised to take precautions against thunderstorms and potential disruptions. Other regions of the country are also experiencing varying degrees of cloudy weather.
