A man and woman have been found dead at Maulibari in Morang district.
They were found hanging from a tree at Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-5, Maulibari, SP Narayan Chimoriya of District Police Office, Morang told Nepalkhabar.
The deceased have been identified as Ajaya Tudu, 22, of Morang and Jubamuni Hasda of Gaurigunj, Jhapa, with her maternal home in Morang, ward chair Chejendra Khadka said.
Ajaya's house is one km away from the incident site. Both Tudu and Jubamuni are married and have kids.
It was learnt that Tudu left home on Tuesday night and was found hanging from a single tree together with the girl, Khadga added.
Both Tudu and Jubamuni are married. The woman's husband is abroad for employment, currently.
Ajaya has two sons – one two years old and the other 4 years. Ajaya is learnt to have brought Jubamuni home on Sunday night.
They were reportedly spotted hanging out on multiple occasions over the last few months.
