The District Administration Office (DAO), Lalitpur, has declared the Pulchowk and Bhaisepati areas as prohibited zones.

Chief District Officer (CDO) Ramesh Dhakal issued an order on Sunday, informing that the UN House area in Pulchowk, the old ministerial quarters area, and the new ministerial quarters area in Bhaisepati have been declared prohibited zones.

The DAO, Lalitpur, has stated that the prohibited zone declaration will remain effective for two months. During this period, activities such as hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, demonstrations, and gatherings are not allowed in these areas.

The administration declared the areas prohibited after receiving information that royalists and teachers were also planning to stage demonstrations in these areas.
