A fire has broken out at Center Plaza, a commercial building in Itahari, Sunsari, leaving several people trapped.
Eleven among those trapped have been have been rescued so far, the Ministry of Home Affairs informed Nepalkhabar.
"A total of 11 people have been rescued from the fifth and sixth floors of the 10-story building where the fire is still raging. Three individuals were rescued via helicopter," the ministry said.
Efforts are underway to rescue the remaining three individuals trapped in the building, according to the police.
