The Supreme Court (SC) has summoned both parties to discuss the interim order regarding Kulman Ghising's writ petition.

Following the preliminary hearing in the bench of Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman, the apex court summoned both parties over the interim order on Kulman's writ, senior advocate Dr. Dinmani Pokharel told Nepalkhabar.

According to him, the case has been prioritized, and a hearing will be scheduled promptly.

Along with Dr. Pokharel, senior advocates Madhav Kumar Basnet and others had demanded that an interim order be issued today to reinstate Kulman and bar Hitendra Dev Shakya from working.

On Monday, the government had removed Kulman from the post of Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority and appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya in his place.

Kulman on Thursday filed a petition at the Supreme Court against the government's decision.
