President designates DPM Singh to take charge of PM's daily administrative works

President Ramchandra Paudel has designated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh to look after the daily administrative affairs of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers during the absence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The Prime Minister today embarked on the official visit to Thailand (April 1-5) the cordial invitation of his Thai counterpart Paetongtarn Shinawatra. He is scheduled to attend the  Sixth Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral, Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) to be hosted by Thailand on April 4 and will address the Summit same day.

On the recommendation of the Prime Minister, President Paudel assigned the Deputy Prime Minister to take charge of the daily administrative affairs carried out by the Prime Minister. This was made in accordance with the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.
