Meeting with PM Oli was productive, sys PM Modi

Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have held a meeting on the sidelines of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday.

Following the meeting with Prime Minister Oli, Indian Prime Minister Modi commented that the meeting with Prime Minister Oli was productive.

"I had a productive meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the sidelines of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. India attaches immense priority to relations with Nepal," Modi mentioned on the social media platform X.

Different aspects of India-Nepal Friendship including energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology were discussed during the meeting, according to the X message posted by Modi.

"We discussed different aspects of India-Nepal friendship, especially in sectors like energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology," stated Modi.  

The two leaders also reviewed some key positive outcomes related to disaster management and maritime transport from the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit which concluded today.
