Deepak Manange (Rajiv Gurung) has been unanimously elected Province Assembly member from Manang district.
Manange has been unanimously elected as the Province Assembly member from Manang Province Assembly (Kha), as he became the lone candidate left for the post after an independent candidate Dorjee Lama withdrew his candidacy today.
Chief Election Officer Uttam Silwal said Manange would be declared elected unopposed today itself. He was elected Province Assembly member as an independent candidate in 2074 BS.
He is now Minister for Youth and Sports of Gandaki Province.
