Kathmandu air pollution increases yet again as rainfall subsides

The air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley has increased again after the rain and wind subsided.

Kathmandu, which had fallen to 42nd place on the list of the world's most air-polluted cities on Saturday, has now risen to seventh place today.

As of 9:45 AM today, Kathmandu is ranked seventh on the world's air pollution list, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) at 153.

Kathmandu, which was ranked first in the world in air pollution on March 23, witnessed its pollution level to 42nd place on the 'Air Quality Index' list on March 24.

However, the amount of air pollution has increased since Saturday.
