The Police have arrested two individuals on the charge of firing on a motorcyclist in Sunsari on Monday evening.
Shiva Kumar Mehata, 21, of Dewangunj Rural Municipality-7, Sunsari sustained injuries in the firing.
The arrested have been identified as Pintu Yadav and Rabin Kumar Yadav.
Other three people including Kameshwar Yadav, who were involved in the firing, are at large, District Police Office, Sunsari said.
According to the police, the disputes that cropped up over transactions led to the incident, according to a preliminary report of the police.
A total of six people were involved in the incident. All of them have criminal backgrounds, according to Timsina.
"We have initiated an investigation into the incident," SP Timsina said, "The shooter and the injured have criminal backgrounds."
One of the arrested had been held for smuggling marijuana one month ago.
The police said they are searching for the absconding three individuals.
