Six recently promoted AIGs assigned new roles, Khapung to head CIB

The six recently promoted Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs) of Nepal Police have assumed their new roles, with distinct responsibilities assigned to each.

The Nepal Police Headquarters on Tuesday assigned roles to six AIGs -- Chandra Kuber Khapung, Lalmani Acharya, Krishna Hari Pokharel, Dan Bahadur Karki, Rajan Adhikari and Dr. Manoj Kumar KC.

According to a press note issued by the Nepal Police Headquarters, Khapung has been picked to oversee the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Karki as the head of Human Resources, while Acharya has been assigned the responsibility of the Operations Department at Nepal Police Headquarters.

Similarly, Pokharel has been assigned to look after the Administration Department at Nepal Police Headquarters, Adhikari (Crime Investigation Department), while KC will head the Province Coordination Department, according to the press note.
