Fourteen people sustained injuries in a vehicle accident that occurred at Bhimphedi in Makwanpur district on Tuesday afternoon.
A vehicle met with an accident at Chhaisaththi Mode along the Tribhuvan Highway in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-9 at 1 PM today.
The condition of three among those injured is said to be critical, according to the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
The TATA Winger van, Province 2-03-001 Ja 0147, heading to Lalbanddi of Sarlahi from Chitlang of Makwanpur met with an accident after it went out of control, said DSP Shyamu Aryal, the spokesperson for the DPO, Makwanpur.
Acting on a tip-off, a 25-member join team from Area Police Office, Bhainse and Simbhanyang fanned out to the incident site for rescue and brought the victims to Hetauda Hospital.
The accident took place due to break failure, according to the preliminary investigation of the police.
