The prize money for the winners of Nepal T20 League starting tomorrow (Saturday) has been announced.
The league's champions will get Rs 5.5 million. Similarly, runner-up and third place winner would get Rs three million and Rs one million respectively, said Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
Additionally, CAN informed that the team that finishes fourth would also not go empty-handed as it will be entitled to Rs 500 thousand. In the same manner, the top bowler and batsman would get Rs 250 thousand each, while the player of the series would receive Rs 500 thousand.
Lastly, Rs 180 thousand has been set aside for one emerging talent.
Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kathmandu will host the cricket tournament carrying the highest cash prize in the country till date.
Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Knights will face off in the inaugural match set to take place on Saturday.
