CG Hospitality, the hospitality arm of CG Corp Global, has announced a major collaboration with Marriott International to introduce the Series by Marriott™ brand in India, anchored by The Fern Hotels, a leading eco-sensitive hotel chain.

Under the agreement, The Fern, The Fern Residency, and The Fern Habitat will join Marriott’s global network, adding up to 84 hotels and 6,000 rooms to Marriott’s India portfolio. The deal includes a strategic equity investment by Marriott in Concept Hospitality (CHPL), which operates The Fern brands, and a long-term co-branding partnership. Fern hotels will now leverage Marriott’s global distribution, digital platforms, and the Marriott Bonvoy™ loyalty program while retaining their independent identity.

This partnership aligns with CG Hospitality’s vision to expand The Fern to 500 hotels by 2030, reinforcing its leadership in India’s mid-market hospitality segment. The collaboration follows CG Hospitality’s recent move to rebrand The Farm at San Benito (Philippines) as a Marriott Autograph Collection property, set to reopen by Q3 2025.

CG Hospitality is also enhancing Nepal’s tourism infrastructure with premium properties, including:

  • Miraaya Wellness & Golf Resort (Nawalpur)
  • Meghauli Serai – A Taj Safari Lodge (Chitwan)
  • Unnati Cultural Village (upcoming in Chitwan)
  • Vivanta Kathmandu and Vivanta Chitwan (operated by IHCL)

Rahul Chaudhary, MD & CEO of CG Corp Global, stated, “This partnership accelerates our mission to make The Fern a global eco-sensitive brand while expanding CG Hospitality’s footprint to 650 hotels worldwide.”

CG Corp Global is a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate with operations in 32 countries across sectors like FMCG, banking, hospitality, and telecom. Its hospitality arm, CG Hospitality, manages 195+ hotels in 12 countries, with plans to grow to 650 hotels by 2027.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Indian and global hospitality, positioning The Fern as a key player in Marriott’s expanding portfolio.
