Kami Rita Sherpa has broken his own record yet again by successfully summiting Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, for the 31st time.
On Tuesday morning at 4 AM, the 55-year-old mountaineering legend reached atop the highest peak of the world as part of an Indian Army expedition led by Lieutenant Colonel Manoj Joshi.
Last year, Kami Rita had set a world record by summiting Everest for the 30th time. This year, he surpassed his own achievement.
He began his Everest journey at the age of 24 in 1994 and has since climbed several 8,000-meter peaks, including Kanchenjunga, Manaslu, and Lhotse, a total of 45 times.

Chhang Dawa Sherpa of Seven Summit Treks shared on Facebook, "The Everest Man did it again! Congratulations to Kami Rita Sherpa for his historic 31st summit."
This time, he not only scaled the third pole himself but also guided other team members to the summit.
Hailing from Thame in Solukhumbu, Kami Rita holds the world record for the most Everest summits, solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest mountaineers in history.
